Greta Van Susteren, while interviewing a Sheriff in Lakeland, Florida, whose deputies managed to wrest a critically injured man from a 12-foot alligator, asked the common-sense question, “Do you have any idea what the victim was doing out there at four in the morning?”
The Sheriff’s response:
“Well, we determined that the victim was actually completely naked and he admitted to us that he had been smoking crack cocaine… but that’s no excuse for an alligator to attack a person…”
